Andrej looked at what the industry currently offers, many of which have had no serious hardware changes in a decade, and designed an instrument that is more intuitive to use, simpler to operate, and can interface to tablets running with XCSoar, Tophat, OpenVario etc via a simple bluetooth interface (optional extra on Fenix S)
